Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the bogas.io website and the Bogas POS service, published by Bogas.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

The service

Bogas POS is point of sale and management software: web app (pos.bogas.io), Android and Windows apps, and the owner’s online back-office. It also works without Internet and syncs when the network is back.

Accounts and access

Your business is created by Bogas; your devices are paired with it using a code. Each employee has their own personal code: you keep these codes confidential and remove access for people who leave the business.

Trial and subscription

A free trial period may be offered. The subscription, its price and billing are set out in your quote or order form. In case of non-payment, after a reminder, online access may be suspended; your data remains stored and exportable.

Your data

You remain the owner of your business data and can export it at any time. You are responsible for what you enter and for meeting your obligations, including tax and employment obligations.

Availability

We do our best to keep the online platform available at all times, without being able to guarantee there will be no interruption (maintenance, network). Devices keep working offline so service can continue during interruptions.

Hardware

Bogas POS works with most receipt printers and barcode scanners on the market, without a compatibility guarantee for every model. Try your hardware during the trial period.

Liability

Our liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the amounts paid for the service over the previous twelve months. We are not liable for indirect losses (loss of revenue or customers).

Intellectual property

The software remains the property of the publisher. During your subscription, you have a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it.

Termination

You can end your subscription under the terms of your quote. Before your business is deleted, you can export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. In case of dispute, we will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the courts of Douala will have jurisdiction. Contact: +237 658 38 83 76 (call or WhatsApp).
